Program Overview
The academic program at Brightstar is designed to develop the whole child. Keeping in mind that learning for children ages 3-4 often takes place through play. Instead of focusing on academic measures alone, BrightStar takes a holistic approach to education, redefining how schools measure success. Our scholars participate in a variety of developmentally appropriate educational activities during the school day. Within our classrooms, the scholars are provided with opportunities to:
Manipulate Materials
Choose Activities
Solve
Problems
Use Small & Large Muscles
Our Curriculum
Here at BrightStar we utilize program such as the Wonders Early Learning Literacy Program, the STEAM Program, and the Leader in Me Program. Using a combination of these programs allows our scholars to prepare for success with rich, cross-curricular learning experiences.

STEAM learning encourages innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity, resulting in a capable, multi-faceted child. Through STEAM, children build the skills necessary to navigate the world around them. Making connections between diverse skills and concepts is the way children learn best.

Moreover, the Leader in Me Program provides scholars with a model and process that addresses common challenges that are unique to students and helps them develop mindsets, behaviors, and skills to be effective lifelong leaders.
